| Timebeat announces launch of second generation Secretkiss.net dating website and expects to set revenue record in 1st quarter |
June 04, 2002 |
|
PALM BEACH, FL, June 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Timebeat.com Enterprises Inc. (OTCBB: TMBT - News) is pleased to announce it launched the second generation of its Secretkiss.net dating website today. The new site utilizes improved graphical presentation and refined search criteria resulting in enhanced aesthetics and improved functionality. The improvements to the site were made possible in part from feedback the company has received as part of its online beta testing process. With this phase of the improvements to functionality and appearance now complete, Secretkiss will now embark on the advertising campaign announced May 8, 2002. These advertising efforts, comprised of email mass marketing and placement of advertisements in 250 newspapers coast to coast, are intended to drive site traffic and increase the size of the online community, critical components to making Secretkiss.net a success in the lucrative $300 million online dating industry.
With the year-end audit ongoing, Timebeat will not be providing an update on monthly sales results for April 2002. Monthly revenue guidance will resume for the month of May once the company has completed the audit process. However, based on interim results to date, management believes Timebeat is on a pace to record another record quarter for the period ending June 30, 2002. All current components to the company``s business plan, Timebeat.com, Timebeat4teens.com and Watchzone.net are contributing to the revenue. Profit margins on the various products we sell can be in excess of 50%. These diversified contributions coupled with the initiation of revenue streams from its affiliates, Steve Madden, Hoffman Chocolates and Proflowers.com leave the company well positioned for continued string sequential growth - without taking into account the significant revenue excepted in the future from the Dance and Classified fragrances, the Secretkiss.net dating site or contributions from 2Live Entertainment.
